In regard*to the Brooklands aviation fatality, when Mr Fisher, an aviator,' and a passenger named Mason fell 200 feet, Mr Mason was a wealthy American and a friend of President "Taft and Mr Roosevelt. Both Masofi and Fisher sustained broken spines. Mr Fisher was seriously injured last October at Brooklands. TRAGEDY AT ST. LOUIS. Received May 15, 12.10 fin. ® NEW YORK, May 14. Mr Ray Wheeler, an amateur aviator, was killed and Mr Glasser, his companion, fatally injured at St. Louis. Their aeroplane dashed into telegraph poles and became entangled. The machine became unmanageable in a gusty wind.
