BOGHEAD PICNIC. FEOM QVR OWX COKHKSPONDEKT. Notwithstanding the fact that wretched weather prevailed on the occasion of the Boghead annual picnic which was on Tuesday a large number of people, including many visitors, assembled in Mr Glover's paddock, kindly lent for the day. Despite the inclement iWeatber an air of joviality pervaded tbo whole proceedings. During the afternoon various eventu were got off under the supervision of a strong committee of which Messrs G. Irwin (chairman). Buck, Coombcs, Scammell, T. Telfer and Geo Nichol (secretary) were prominent. The ladies of the district at suitable intervals supplied dainty refreshments.
