The attendance was fairly large and the track heavy as the result of rain overnight. During the day £2402 was passed through the totalizator, making £5032 for the meeting. Buff Gauntlet and Grafton, Laddie ran together until ■three furlengs from home, where the ffofmer slipped and lost two or three •lengths.
