The 'Agricultural Departmental Com- > mittee's report on the position of teni ant farmers recommends the establish- ' ment of a land bank to make advances to enable tenants to purchase their holdings, and a scheme for State-pur-chased estates as a measure of protection against tenants' dispossession. The committee also demands extended notices to tenants in the event of sale.
