NO ONE INJURED. PER UNITED TRESS ASSOCIATION WESTPORT. Jan. 26. The stone roof of tbo Westport Coal Company's Cascade Mine fell for a distance of 20 yards, blocking the outlet. Richard Baker, who was two or three, yards away from the beginning of the fall, saw it coming and leaped into a placo of safety, but was surrounded by a great mass of rock. Several other men were also phut in. but were away from tbo immediate cause of the danger.

Rescue parties got to work vigorously and managed after two and a-half hours' strenuous lalior to release the imprisoned men. None of them were injured.
