The arrangements for emigration made by Mr J. W. Taverner (Victorian Agent-General) include 5200 additional berths during 1912 and 10,950 each during 1913 and 1914, in the Milburn, Tvser and Peninsular lines. 'This brings the 1912 total to 14,000. Seven new boats will be utilised and of these five will he fitted with refrigerating apparatus to carry 100,000 stteep apiece. Five will be used exclusively by Victorian emigrants and Victoria is free to secure additional accommodation by other lines.
