WELLINGTON, Dec. 16. It is impossible ih;:t the declared results of the second ballots so far as the Wellington seats are concerned can be affected by absent voters' permits. I'ollowing are tho latest figures:— Wellington East.—Newman (().) 3766; McLaren (Lab.), 3691). The oflicial count for Otaki will take place on Monday. There are 46 absent voters' permits to come and Mr Robertson's majority is 21.
