A SURE LAMP-LIGHHTER.

The following tip, though of more service to our cycling readers than others, may prove useful under a variety of circumstances. The difficulty which arises in lighting a lamp when the wick refuses to catch, either owing to draught or some other cause, may be easily overcome by inserting an un lighted wax vesta by the wick. This, when lighted, will cause a flare, and generally the result is a light at first time of trying.
