Sir G«orge Reid (Australian High Commissioner) presided at the Sphinx Club's dinner, where the subject of aviation was discussed. Mr Roger Wallace, K.C. (president of the Afco Club), stated that 47 officers had gained its certificate. FLYING ACROSS AMERICA. Received November 3, 11.5 a.m. NEW YORK, Nov. 2. The aviator Rodgers has arrived at Tucson (Arizona) on the last lap of the ocean-to-ocean flight. He met Fowler (a competitor) there, but the latter has been making poor headway.
