Advices from Han-kow state that the rebels have recaptured the station and that the dragon flag has been rehoisted. At Canton business has been resumed. Private cables deny that Fanchau has fallen. Court officials at Ichang (for refusing to deliver keys) and a few other Manchu officials were killed by the rebels. The latter are vigorously preserving order and executing all looters and incendiaries.
