The small town of Gridley, Kansas, U.S.A., having been disturbed by an obnoxious habit acquired by its citizens of tickling each other, the following ordinance has been published in the official paper, the 'Gridley Light':— "Making it unlawful for any person to practise tickling another person, and fixing a penalty for the same: "He it ordained by the Mayer and City Council of Grindley, Kan.: "Section 1. —That it shall be unlawful for any ;>erson to punch another .person with thumb, finger, stick, or other thing in the manner commonly known as tickling.
