'PROHIBITION SAFE." The local secretary of the Tomix>raucc Council (Mr A. H. Aitktui) received a telegram this morning from the secretary of the ;Vew Zealand Alliance, Wellington, as follows: "Woolley just cabled' Maine safe prohibition." Mr TToolley is tiio American temperance orator who lectured at Gore some years ago, and the cable is evidently intended to confirm the cabled accounts of the recent vote of 748 in favor of maintaining prohibition in Maine.
