BROKEN BONDS.
ENGLISH DIVORCE CASE. BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH.—COPYRIGHT. PKR Dtf-ITRD PEESS ASSOCIATION. Received November 1, 10.10 a.m. LONDON, Oct. 31. In the Foster-Beecham case a divorce was granted with costs against Beecham. The cross-petition was abandoned. The hearing lasted eight days and the newspapers printed columns of evidence daily. An artist named Foster sued for a divorce from his wife, who is also an artist. Mr Beecham, the opera impressario, was co-respondent. The wife cross-petitioned and the case excited much interest. Mr Thomas Beecham is a member of the well-known pill family, and is described as conductor, composer, and operatic impresario. He is h{- ye a ™ ,? fag and in 19 0 3 married Utica Welles, of New York. They have two sons.
