SALE OF CLYDESDALES.

THE EDENDALE DISPERSAL. There was a large gathering of wellknown horse breeders and dealers present at the dispersal sale at Edendale yesterday of Mr Donald Macdonald's famous Clydesdale stud. The foundation of this stud was the selection by Mr Macdonald during a visit to +he Old Country in 1903 of the stallions Royal Knight and Bancor. Mr Macdonald's importations and breeding have also done much to bring into favor in Southland the newer or lighter type. The arrangements made for the sale were almost ideal, reflecting great credit on all concerned. The disposal of 38 lots inside two hours was a distinct compliment to Mr J.
