TAPANUI SPOETS. The anijua] sports gathering of the Tapanui Athletic Society was held yesterday in fine weather. The attendance was not up to the average owing no doubt to the harvesting operations being in full swing. The various events were well contested and the finishes in most cases wore decidedly interesting, reflecting great credit on the handicapper.
