W. Raymond and Co., Wyndham, report having sold the undernoted properties since their last re- . port in September: On account Mr A. Johnson, goodwill in his leasehold, being section 2, block 2,. Wyndham District, containing 186 acres 3 roods, to Mr R. K. Macdonald, of Edendale. , On account Mr George Clarke, his Pine Bush farm, containing 130 acres, with all improvements, to Mr. W. Dunn, of Otama. On account Mr Willian Crosbie, sen., of Waikawa Valley, his farm, contain- ■ ing 607 acres, to Mr George' Williamson, of Waikawa. Raymond and Co. report concerning the Wyndham sale: There was a small yarding of sheep, most of which sold at top values. Fat ewes brought from 12s Id to 9s 6d. Forward store lambs lis 7d. A pen of aged ewes were passed in at 6s 6d. Cattle.—There was a full yarding, there being about equal proportions of fat and store cows and yearlings. There were no 2£yr or 3yr steers on offer. We sold as follows:—2 fat cows £7 2s 6d, 11 do £6 15s, 9 do £6 ss, 2 do £5 15s, 2 do £5 10s, 14 store cows £4 17s 6d to £3 16s, 5 aged do £3 to £3 15s, 6 bulls £6 to £4 according to weight and condition. Pigs.—There was only a small yarding. We sold 2 weaners at lis 6d,5 do 9s, 2 do Bs, 3 small do 6s to 2s, 6d. TIMARU WOOL SALE. PER. UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION TIMARU, Jan. 26. The third wool sale of the season was ! > held here to-day, when 6200 bales were j offered and most of them sold. As a i whole the offering was of only medium quality, there being no really first-class wool. In comparison with prices at the previous sale, fleece wool showed a drop of £d, to ijd and pieces Id to ljd. Generally speaking, the prices realised exceeded anticipations. Quotations: Good halfbred, 10|d to 11 Jd; medium do, B|d to 9i-d; inferior do. 6 3 d to 8d; medium crossbred, 7jd to 83d; inferior do, sfd to 63d; three-quarterbred, B£d to 9Jd; medium do, 7d to 8 3 d; merino, 7*d to 9Jd; halfbred pieces, 7£d to 9d; three-quarterbred pieces, 6£d to 7Jd; bellies, s£d to 7d; locks, 2|d to 4d. NAPIER RAM FAIR. PER UNITED PEESS ASSOCIATION. NAPIER, Jan. 26. The annual ram fair under the auspices of the Hawke's Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Association started to-day on the Hastings Show Grounds, there being a good attendance. A feature of the fair was the large number of Romneys, there being nearly 3000, as compared with 1800 last year. Some were good but many were inferior, and, considering the quality, prices were satisfactory. Flock Rom'neys showed an allround decrease on last year's values. Stud Romneys were generally of good quality, the top price being 110 guineas for a ram bred by Mr Ernest Short, of Feilding. In Lincolns, Mr H. W r ybourne, of Whenuakura, obtained the highest figure— guineas. The effected are regarded as satisfactory, considering the numbers and quality of the animals submitted. BANK RATE REDUCED.
