WEATHER FORECAST.

+ Following is Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and weather forecast: The weather has been fairly warm and humid generally, but rain has fallen in the southernmost districts. Squally westerly. winds were experienced during the night in Foveaux and parts of Cook Straits, but the wijid has been most ■. variable and the barometer has made little movement. Present indications are for warm and humid conditions generally, with passing clouds and showers iu parts. Winds will probably be variable in most parts of the country 3 moderate to strong easterlies predominating in the North and westerlies in and southward of Cook Strait. The barometer has a falling tendency in the far North, but will probably rise shortly in the South.
