RESCUED FROM A WINDOW.
FIRE AT THE HUTT. TEE UNITED TRKSS ASSOCIATION, WELLINGTON, Jtrly 6. A six-roomed house at Lower Hutt, occupied by Mr John Taucher and owned by Mr Herman Lewis, was destroyed by fire early this morning. The occupant and six children had to be rescued out of a window. The insurances are £6OO on the building in the Liverpool and London and Globe office and £75 on the contents in the Yorkshire office.
