EMIGRATION.
THE BRITISH POLICY. BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH. —COPYRIGHT. PER UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION. Received July 6, 11 a.m. LONDON, July 5. Colonel Seely (Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies), speaking in the House of Commons, said it was still the policy of the Government not to give money to assist emigration. No steps would be taken until after the functions and organisation of the Emigrants' Information Office had been inquired into. The whole subject of reorganisation was a difficult one, but was under consideration.
