PRISONERS SENTENCED.
FER UNITED PRF.SB ASSOCIATION. DUNEDIN, May 23. At the Supreme Court to-day Mr Justice Williams passed these sentences:— Daniel Morgan, for receiving a stobn watch, 15 months' imprisonment; Frank Mervyn Kenisted, convicted of false pretences and forgery, sentence deferred. William Henry Harris, aged 19 years, who had pleaded guilty to passing counterfeit coin, three years' imprisonment with hard labor in the Inevrcargill reformatory prison. Daniel Sweeney, who had pleaded guilty to obtaining money from a Dunedin solicitor by pretending to be the owner of three horses, was sentenced to six months' imprisonment, to cammea"e at the expiration of his current seatence.
