MOST PROFITABLE YEAR. PER UNITED ntESS ASSOCIATION. DUNEDIN, March 17. The electric tramways for the year ended March 2 show receipts amounting to £65,799 and working expenses £36,401, the profit being £29,398. The revenue shows an increase of £2522 over the previous year while tho mileage run shows an increase of 7798 miles. The total number of passengers carried was 11,380,472. This is the most successful year since the inauguration of the service.
