CONGRESS ON ALCOHOLISM.
WHAT AUSTRALIA IS DOING. LONDON, July 19. Tho International Congress on Alcoholism was opened at Kenaingtou today, many foreign delegates attending. Sir John Cockburn, representing tlio Comuionwoaltli, said the children in Australian State schools were instructed in scientific tomperance. Sir H. Toiser (Queensland Agent-Gen-eral) hoped tho Congress would deal with tho native question.
