The deposed Shah has four sons, liamoly, (1) Itezad as Salteuah, (2) Sultan Ahmed Mirza, Valiahd (heir apparent), (3) Mohammed Mehdi Mirza, (4) Mohammed Hassan Mirza. There are also some daughters. According to tho Constitution, the Shah must belong to the Shiah faith, and his successor must 1)6 his eldest son, or next malo heir in succession, whose mother was a Kajar princess. The mother of the deposed monarch ivas not a Kajar princess, and his eldest son is not heir apparent, because his mother was not a Kajar princess.
