With a view to reducing triction with the lords and landowners to a minimum tho 'Westminster Gazette' (Liboral) urges the Government to drop tho amendment proposed by Mr Dickinson (Liberal member for St. Pancras North) that particulars should bo supplied iu every cat** of hind transfer whether or not duty was due, thus giving the country an up-to-date land register, inasmuch as the valuation of agricultural land might givo opponents a handle leading to tho alleged constitution being strained.
