MATAURA PRESBYTERY.

A meeting of the Mataura Presbytery was held in the Gore Presbyterian X'hurch yesterday afternoon. Sederunt: lievs. t l. llaclnnes (Moderator),, 'A.. Gray (Clerk), \V. F. I.Gvans, T. I'aulin, JA. Sangster. J. M. Davidson, 11. McLennan and Haiti (Ministers), and Messrs (A. Murdoch siewart, ..Gardiner, Dunn and Mct'lniil (Elders).

The Waikaka Church ivus granted permission to make an exchange of church site.

The following Church records were certified 1i \ the Moderator as being correct: —-Mataura, (lure, Rivorsdale, Wuikaku anil Waikaka Valley. The Presbytery appointed a subcommittee to act with tile building committee at Wyndham, and Lo have the plan of the new church altered according to the Presbytery's suggestions. t)u the motion of the liev.. W. F. Evans, seconded by the Rev. G. G. Howes, the following resolution was carried:—"That, the Clerk be duly nolilied of all matters to come belore the Presbytery; that the Moderator and Clerk arrange the order of business prior to meeting; that the order sheet thus drawn up be not departed from unless in exceptional circumstances and by the unanimous vote of the Presbytery; that all unfinished business be taken first at next sederunt."

The Uev. \V. F. Evans gave notice of motion as follows:—"That the Presbytery meet for business at 10.30 a.in., instead of L.30 a.m." The Presbytery then adjourned.
