At the Supreme Court today, before Mr Ju.siico Cooper and a <,pt'tial jury oi twelve, lite hearing was concluded of a rase in which Daisy Cook, a young woman, claimed £5Ol from Herbert Pearson Hun-son, dentist, of Wellington. for bodily in juries alleged to have lieen inllieted upon her during the course of rut operation for the extraction a number of teeth. Mr T. I'. Skerrcit, K.C., with him Mr P. I*. Bunny, appeared for defendant. who denier! all the allegations made by plniutiif. I'laiiuilf by her statement of claim alleged thnt defendant had so negligently and so unskilfullv treated her that a tooth was allowed by defendant to fall into plaintiff's limp, whereby she had suffered injury to her health and much pain and had been put fo expense for modioli attendance. Plaintiff claimed £5Ol damages. Defendant, by hi-; statement of de-f'-m-e, denied that ho had been in any ■vav multy of nealige»c«> or unskilfulness in treating the plaintiff or that a tooth had been allowed by him t» fall into plaintiff's lung. Defendant further denied that plaintiff had incurred ■inv injury to her health as tho result of his treatment or hnd been put to ■■■-x'vnse.
