I-ysmir) lecture against- Ko j Lflcense. .V good deal of interest had been given by an editorial in the Gisborne 'Times,' protesting against the Jlayor of the town making such a use of his position, and a large section of the audience had manifestly attended simply to see the fun. Mr .Lysmir's speech was not taken seriously, and was punctuated throughout by roars of laughter and good humored jibes. The meeting lasted from 8 o'clock till about 12.
