Hushing in the direction of Pennant Hills, the Chinese killed a boy named Petlit, aged 11. He then made his way to the residence of a family named Hines, who barricaded themselves inside. Failing to obtain admission, the miscreant attacked and set fire to an adjoining bedroom. A boy named Aitken, aged 15. who was delivering groceries at .Mines', was the next victim, being brutally attacked and Rilled. The police arrested the murderer after a desperate struggle. He is supposed to be suffering from religious niauia.
