.WELLINGTON, WOOL SALE. There was a record attendance at ithei first of the season's wool sales at Wellington on Thursday. Prices as compared with this time last year showed an average advance of 3d on fleece wools and 2d on inferior. Halfbred, DJd to lOd (to IOJd, and lOj'd lor extra; medium crossbred, 9d to 9Jd ; coarse do, B£d to 9Jd ; inferior, &1 to B|d; pieces and bellies, s}d to 6Jd; locks, 3d to 4d.
