The win nets in the second round divided first and second prize money. The games, taking them all round, were, considoiing the high wind blowing, first class, soma real good play being shown. During the week Ave have been favored with a few visitors frotlfi-other clubs, notably, Mr Brown (hon. s<o. Du ledin Bowling Clut ) and Capt. !~ui dstn m [dchgnte for Northend Invercargill Club 011 the In.Z. Association and member of Kaituna Club, Dunedin). Already two rinks have been formed to compete in the N.Z. Association championships. Later on I will havo something to say to thf-se teams and will give them a few hints required, which they will find beneficial when away. Entries are now teing received for the champion singles. The conditions of games are new to most bowlers, but I think they will prove to be a great improvement on past cna-iipionships. is'ext week 1 will give a fuller account of what has happened lately on the local green. I extend to all bowlers my best wishes for a Happy iNew Year.
