DUNEDIN PRODUCE MARKET. Messrs Daloety and Co., Danedin, report: We held oar usual weekly auction sale of grain and produce at our stores on Monday, when s full catalogue was submitted to a good attendance of buyers, and cleared at prices well up to last week's quotations. Oats.—During the past week there has been a fair demand from shippers, and nnBignmentß forward have been placed at L.lly up to last week's rates. Shippers requirements, were for immediate delivery, and the bulk of their orders are still going to the north. We quote : Prime milling 1b 9d to Is lOd, good to best feed Is 6d to Is 7jd, inferior to good Is 5d to Is 6d. Wheat. —Samples of this season's wheat are now coming forward more freely, but the quality of the southern wheat, in a good many oases, is not by any means first-class. Millers are operating only from hand to month, but all prime samples sold readily at quotations. We quote : Prime milling 4s 2d to 4s 4d, fowl wheat 4s to 4s Id. Chaff.—Supplies are now coming in more freely, and consequently prices suffered adrop of from 5s to 7s 6d per ton. We quote : Prime oaten sheaf £3 5s to £3 7s 6d, gojd £3 to £3 2s 6d.

Potatoes.—Fair consignments are ooming to hand, and prices this week show a decline of about 5s per ton. We quote : Prime derwents £3 5s to £3 Ins, medium £3 to £3 ss, kidneys £2 15s to £3.

Very few oats have come to hand this week, and quotations remain practically unchanged. Quotations : Prime milling, Is 9d to Is 9Jd ; good to best feed, Is 7d to Is 8d ; inferior and medium, Is 5d to Is 6|d per bushel (sacks extra). Wheat—There is little inquiry for prime quality. Owing to uncertainty as to the price of flour, millers are not inclined to operate to any great extent. Fowl wheat, however, is still scarce, and meets with ready sale at late quotations. Quotations : Prime milling, 4s 2d to 4s 4d ; medium 4s to 4s Id ; whole fowl wheat, 3s lid to 4s ; broken and damaged, 3s 3d to 3s lOd per bushel (sacks extra). Potatoes—Supplies continue to come forward steadily, and are readily sold at phices on a par with late quotations. Quotations : Best Derwents, £3 5s to £3 10s ; medium to good, £3 to to £3 2s 6d ; other sorts, £2 15s to £3 per ton (bags in). Chaff —Heavier consighments have come forward during tbe past few days, and prices have receded 5s to 7s fid per ton in consequence. Very little old chaff is now sn hand, but is rather slow of sale, preference being given to prime bright new chaff. Quotations: Prime oaten sheaf, £3 5s to £3 7s 6d; medium, £2 15s to £3 2s 6d ; inferior and straw chaff, £2 10s to £2 12s 6d per ton (bags extra).

AUSTRALIAN MARKETS. Sydney, April 15. Wheat, chick, 5s 3d to 5s 4d per bushel; milling, prime, nominally 5s lid; Manitoban, 5s 7d to 5s 9d ; Californian, 5s 3d to 5s 4d; seeding, 6s sd. Flour, £l2 10s ; Manitoban, £l2 15s. Oats, feeding, N.Z. prime' 2s lOd per bushel; good, 2s 8d to 2s 9d, milling, 33. Barley, Oape, 4s 3d to 4s 7d per bushel. Maize, piime, 4s 8d per bushel. Bran, Is 2d per bushel. Pollard, Is 5d per bushel. Potatoes, £3 to £3 10s per ton. Onions, £3 to £3 10s. Butter, best, Is to Is Old per lb. Bacon, 9d to Is. There are no reports from Melbourne or Adelaide markets owing to the holidays.

BURNSIDE STOCK MARKET. Fat Cattle —112 yarded; mostly medium to good. Bidding was spirited, and prices advanced 10s per head. Best bullocks £l9 to £ll 17s Gd, good £8 103 ts £9 15s, others £5 10s to £7 15s, best cows £7 10s to £3 12s 6d, good £6 to £7 ss, others £4 10s to £5 10s. Sheep—ls37 ponned, prices ruling ahout Gd higher. Best wethers 16s Gd to 18s 9d, medium 14s to 163, best ewes 15s to 17a 3d, medium 13s to 14s 9d. Lambs—9B9 yarded, prices ruling about Is lower than last week. Best 12s to 13s, medium 9s Gd to lis, others 7s to 8s Gd. Pigs—Suckers and slips wore very dull of salr, but other sorts were iu good demand. Suckers, 6b Gd to 12s, slips 13s Gd to 173, stores 19s to 235, porkers 34b to 425, baconers 46s to 58s.
