BUBONIC PLAGUE.

Sydney, March 27. The Government are obtaining from Home a quantity of serum for inoculation, and are taking steps to more rapidly destroy rats. The seventh case last night was that of a man named Brown, who had been inoculated. It is believed that all yesterday's victims were employed in the infected area. About 400 persons are shut up in the quarantined district, mostly belonging to the laboring : class. The Governmei t " ate feeding them and using the men to clean up tbe place. The French Government are send'ng out a quantity of anti-plague serum as a gift to the New South Wales Government.
