Mr Mouat appeared for the applicants and Mr Henderson for Mr Fames, who objected* After heariDg evidence on both sides the application was granted with costs against the objector £i 4s, applicants to deposit £50 each.. John R. Perry applied for a water-race and dam at Waikaka. These were objected to by F. F Smith and others, but the objections were withdrawn and the applications granted. Albert Mclver (Mr Mouat) applied for a water-race from Argyle Creek to the Landslip—objected to by Arnold and Clark (Mr Fletcher) . — Granted. W. F. Boyer v. W. and E. W. Pearsey.— Suit for cancellation of water rights at Nokomai. Mr Henderson, under instructions from Mr C. E. Rawson, for defendants. His Worship declined to impose a fine in lieu of forfeiture, declared the rights forfeited and ordered the cancellations ■of the license, afterwards granting the same water to plaintiff and J. Boyer. Costs against objectors £2 Gs.
