Oats, scarce ; prime New Zealand, feeding, 2s 3d per bushel; medium, 2s Id to 2s 2d per bushel. Maize, firm, 2s Id. Barley, Cape, 2s 9d per bushel. Bran and pollard, lOd. Potatoes, new locals, £4 per ton ; circulars, £3 to £3 5s per tou. Onions, Victorian, £12 to £12 10s per ton ; Frisco, £15 ; local, £10. Butter, factory, 7Jd to 8d per lb ; dairy, 6Jd to 7d. Cheese, New Zealand, large, 3Jd to 4jd ; choice loaf, 4jd to sd. Bacon, 5d to 5Jd. Melbourne, November 4. Very little business has been done owing to the races. Wheat is firm at 5s 7d to 5s 7£d in the city and 5s 8d in the country. Oats — Algerian, 3s 5d to 3s shd ; stout white, 3s 4d to 3s 5d ; New Zealand," 3s Gd to 3s GJd, duty paid. Maize, to 3s lOd.
