Fredo and Bayly's Palace of Varieties.
On Wednesday and Thursday evening* « next— raca nights— something novel- in the ™ way of amusements is promised the Gora public in the shape of Freda and Bayly's Palace o( Varieties, which has lately been showing to large houses in the principal cities and. important inland centres. Tha company shows in a large tent, providing all those attractions usually found in a first; class muaio hall. The teats of Madame Fredo— the lady with the iron jaw — ara not unknown in these parts, and have created a furore everywhere. The variety element; such as skirt dances, -popular ballads, etc., is to the capable hands of the Leonard sisters. Misses Laura Dillon and Bella Nixon, Mr Dristell is the high kickest and - tumbler of the show, while the younpFredos — Bubbles and Lar— have convulsed their' audiences everywhere with their comio hours " and acrobatic comedy business. Fred Freda gives numerous expositions of jugglery and ambidexterity, and a most compaot little organisation is made complete by the inoluaon of Professor Tindall and his' performing monkey, the latter, among other things! doing a high dive from the top of the tenp ' into a net below, showing that his education in the aorobattoline has not been neglected. The company brings a first olaas orchestra, and as they provide for the comfort of their patrons in every way, they are sure to •ba ' well supported while here.
