The House sent a message intimating their disagreement with the Gounod's amendments in the Criminal Code Amendment Bill, and transmitting reasons. — The matter was fixed for dis- - cmsion for next day. The Commissioners' Powers BH', passed its final stages. The Hon. Sir P. Buckley moved — " That the Crnnoil do not innst upon their amendments in the Adulteration Prevention Act Amendment B 11, which amendments bad been disagreed with by the House."— The motion was agreed to. The Dunedin TJrainago and Sewerage Bill was committed and reported with a number of amendments of no material interest.— Tho third reading was fixed lor next Wednesday.
