Wednesday, July 31. The Fabmebs' Aoency Company report as follows :— Fat Cattle—l6B head yarded. Thera was a good demand but prices were scarcely up fo laat week's. Good bullocks brought L 8 5. to L 9 7s j medium to good. L 6 2s to L 717«; light woights. L 5 12s 6_ to L 6 2s 61; best cows. L 6 l«s to L6l2s 6. j medium to good, _-HotoL- 17s 6d; light and aged, L 2 10) Fat Sheep-1692 penned—all crossbreds. The sales opened at last week's closing rates, but as they progressed the demand fell off and lower prices had to be accepted- Bast wethera brought 13s to 14s 3d—one pen extra heavy, 15s 31; medium, lli 3d to 12s 61; small, 6» to 9«; hsst ewes, 12s 6d to 13s 3dextra heavy 13s 9d; medium. 9s 9d to lis 6d.
