NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, tbat the Southland Ojuiity Council is prepared to give Subsidies at the rate of Pound for Pound to the amount raised by Farmers' Clubs and Local Committees towards the destruction of Small Birds, either for poisoned pram or collecting of sparrows' and hnnett' eegs, to the extent of a sum not exceeding £20 in each Biding. The money to be paid over on ceitificnta of the Chairman of such Club or Committee, that such Club or Committee has expended for the above-mentioned purpose twice the amount of tbe subsidy claimed and voted. To ensure limited action, the Council will not recognise any applications for votes of subsidies if presented after the meeting —12th July. Ry Order, B. P.
