M'Ardell (on behalf of the British And New Zealand Mortgage and Agency Company, Limited) reports for the week ending 20th June as follows : — At Wyndham on Wednesday, 18th inst., , we held a sale of fat and store stock, when 2629 sheep and 137 head of cattle were entared. There was a large representative attendance of buyers and spirited competition, resulting in the yards being cleared , Vitk the exception of one or two head of , ; ", , cattle. The following are the respective lots a»d prices realised : Sheep, 103 fat crossbred ewes and wethers at 13s 3d, $7 do do at Us 3d, 333 dodo at 15», 200 dodo wethers at 14s 3d, 100 do do at 13s Id, 43 do ewes and wethors at 14s, 46 Lincoln Leicester ewes, at 14s 2d ; 43 do do lambs at 8s 9d, 133 merino ewes at 4s, 233 do wethers at ; 4s6d, 235 do do at 4s 6d, and 470 old „ merino wethers (culls) at 2s lOd. Daring the week we have placed 750. Fat Cattle : At our sale at Wyndham we sold 40 head of cows and bullocks. Anything approaching prime beef made 23s per lOOlbs, inferior quality under 20s per JOOlbs. Grain : Market for all kinds dull and little or no business doing.
