Rounding the turn Claptrap was still in front and Archie next. Le Grand then shot to the front and led, along the river side ; then came Archie, Claptrap, and Martini- Henry, with Aide-dc-Camp, Lesbia, and Dukedom well up and Dirk Hatteraick still last. At tbe bridge Archie aud Claptrap again went forward, closely followed by Linda, Martini-Henry, Despot and Dukedom, with Santa Claus and Stockwell in the centre of the field.
