! ;Sheep DipTHE DIP FOR NEW ZEALANDHATCH'S IS THE GENUINE! „' [Registered Trade Mark.] I. I C? B IP SOLE MANUFACTURERS: J. HATCH & CO., INVERCARGIIik, SEE THE FOLLOWING TESTIMONIALS The New Zealand Agricultural Co., Limited. Wantwood, J>7th December, 1882. Joseph Hatch, Esq., Invercargill. Dear Sib,— l have üßed your "Wilson's Cot.oniai, bHKEP Dip " for the last four season?, and last year dipped over sixty thousand (60,000) Crossbred Sheep with it. I have great pleasure in informing you that our Sheep all looked well at shearing time, having no lice or ticks on them, nor did I see a single " plucky " sheep amongst them. The wool also was in good sound condition. I havefto add that last year I used cold water only for dipping with, and found your Dip equally as. effioacious as when used with hot water. This is worthy of ramark, as it reduces the cost of dipping considerably. I am, yours faithfully, WILLIAM A. DONALD, Station Manager for N,Z. Agricultural Co. Edendale Estate, 14th Januaiy, 1882. Messr3 J. Hatch and Co., Invercargill. Dear Sirs.— ln reply to your enquiry as to the success of the Sheep Dip you supplied me with last season, I have much pleasure in stating that it gave me great satisfaction and I faliy sustained the previous high opinion I had formed of your dipping compound. Without doubt as far as my experience goes, there is no Sheep Dip to compare with it in its lasting effects (and this I believe is the most essential property in an insect destroying compound, as any one of the numerous Dipping preparations in the market will destroy vermin for the time being) and I never saw flocks so clean and free from lice and ticks as were those here at the past shearing season, notwithstanding that tbe dipping took place, so long ago as March. With regard to the use by Mr Logan _ Wilson of the previous testimonial 1 gave yo I have only to say he certainly has not my per* ' mission to use it. The Dip he is advertising ! may or may not be equal or superior to yours for aught 1 know, but until I have had experience of the compound manufactured by him I must protest against the insertion of my testimonial to yours in his Circular.— l am, dear Sirs, Yours truly, Wm._Hay, Manager. Waikawa Station, Jan. 1, 1883. Messrs J. Hatch and Co., Invercargill. Deab Sibs,— Your letter of the 20th December to hand sonle time ago. I have to acknowledge that my flock is in better condition this year than ever they have been, and tbe fleece is in splendid order and sheep free from vermin, Your Dip has given me satis* faction. ; .
