Ten gentlemen had been nominated and there' was unusual interest taken in the matter. Polling places had been .provided, at Gore, Mataiira, ; Riversdale and Waikaka, and' the polling resulted as follows J— :
The first-named five gentlemen have therefore, been duly eleoted, and will meet iv the Courthouse, Gore, on Saturday, ,10th Marcb, at noon, for, the purpose of electing a chairman and transacting general quarterly meeting business. . . -
