Dunedin, June 22. The oust’ng of the Harbor Board officials at Port Chalmers tlrs morning from tlieir offico caused a good deal of excitement there. The Port Gnalmors Corporation having decided to bu’ld on tho site occupied by the Harbor Board offices, gave notice to that eflV it some time ago, but the Harbor Board paid no attention to it. This mom ug the Mayor, councillors and a posse ot men proceeded to tho said offices, and on the officials declining to leave, the windows and doors wero taken out of the build’ng, and the Harbor Board people then left the Corporation in full possession of tho W'dlug. Tho Town Clerk sealed up all papers, etc. One-of the pilots some time afterwards got over the fence, hut he was ejected. A largo crowd gathered upon the auTVi'l of the Dunedin train, as it was expec <1 that an attempt would he made to retake the buildhur, but nothing of the sort occurred. The offices were guarded all day and barbed wire erected at night.
