THE WOOL SALES,
(By Telegraph.) London, June 19. Messrs Balme, Jacomb and Co. report that 13,000 bales were disposed of at the third series of auctions wl: ; ch opened today. A third of the number of bales were from Now Zea’and. There was a large attendance of buyers and the bidding was excited. The Cape and Australian merinos were from par to Id higher. Fine cross-breds, very firm, but prices unchanged ; coarso sorts were Ad cheaper on the closing rates in May. The total nr Tiber of bales available is 325,000
