BANQUET TO EARL CARNARVON
Per Electric Telegraph — Copyright reuter’s telegrams, Received Deo 20 6.50 p.m. Sydney, Tuesday. A oaso of smallpox is reported from Rock station. A railway portor having boon found to bo suffering from tho disease but only in a mild form. Effectual measures were adopted to prevent the disease spreading. Earl Carnarvon was entertained at a banquet last night by the members of both Houses of tho Legislature.
