Melbourne, Tuesday The cricket match Shaw and Lillywhito’s team v Victoria was continued to-day, the weather being fine, and the attendance again a poor one. The wicket was rather lumpy. Briggs and Shrewsbury, the not-outs of the previous day, resumed their post at the w idiots, and the former added 30 to his score before he was disposed of, Shrewsbury being done with when his score reached 232. The innings closed for 024, the individual scores being —Read 28, Ulyott 29, Shrewsbury 232 (during his innings lie only gave two chant eg, Lohmann 25, Bain 118, Briggs 75, Docker 48, Smith 0, Rougher 0, Preston 22, Pilling not out 1. TinVictorians, being 500 benign, tliou went in for their second inn ngs, but were all disposed of for 100 runs. The Englishmen thus won the match by an innings with 155 runs to spare.
