THE BLENHEM CRICKET CLUB.

TO TIIE editor Sir, — I notice by your paper this morning that several new members have joined the Blenheim Cricket Club. There is, of course, nothing to show when the new men were elected, but the probab : 'ity is that they were elected at tho meeting when the team was chosen. Some of these men—in fact, nearly the whole of them—played against the A sec Lon of tho Wairau Club on Saturday. Now, what I want to get at is this : Supposing the new members were not elected until last night, what right had they to play in the match lust Saturday ? Cannot the captain of the A Section dispute the match, or rather is it not his duty to do so at once I—l am, c-to., Tiie M/ n j the Diic.r. Blerheim, December 13. [Probably tho captain of the A Section knows his ow a business best. If tho facts as stated are correct no doubt the necessary stops wi'* bo taken, but wo have been led to believe that the players referred to w r ere elected members pi lor to the match on Saturday.— Ed. M. D. T.j
