THE WOOL SA (rkuter’s telegrams.) London, Dec 10. Tho November and December series of wool auctions closed to-day, with a good demand for most descriptions, character - ised by much firmness. The total quantity sold dining the series, including that forwarded direct to manufacturing < stiicts mounts to 100,000 bales; 11,000 have been held over for tiro next sales. Greasy wools generally close at about the sme rate as last sales, but Polj 15 lip and Sydney greasy wools show an advance of a half-penny : scoured wools rate one half-penny higher, while crossbreds close on a par with previous sales.
