Freeman R. Jackson and Co., of Wellington, report. —We had a large attendance at our yards on Thursday. Bidding for cattle was rather dull, out sheep and pigs maintained last sale’s values. Our quotations are—Beef, 15s Od the 1001 b; mutton, shorn, Hd; in wool, 2|d per lb. Unbroken, light draught horses were well competed for. Cattle- —Best bullocks, £6 os to £7 7s Gd, averaging £G 11s 4s; other averages were £6 6s od, £o 12s lOd, and £5 7s Gd. Sheep—Wethers, in wool, 13s 4d to 13s 7d: shorn, Os 3d to 9s Sd ; light inferior sheep, os Id ; lambs, 7s Sd to Ss 4d. Pigs—Porkers, 15s to 20s; stores, 10s Gd ; small stores, 3s 9d to Os. Horses —Light, unbroken draughts, £S os to 12 17s Gd.
