The Agent-General reports that the following nominated imm g ■ants were to be despatched Lp tlios.s. Ivaikoura which sailed on the 22nd October last and is due here about the 3rd December : For An hand IG, Tarawa 2, Hawke’s if iy 17, Wellington Gl, Marlborough 5, Nelson 5, Canterbury G'J, Otago 44, Invercarg' ’), Westland 8. Total 23G. Within the last day or two attempts have been made to rob the postal j ' 'arhoxes fixed at the va 'ous street corners. In one instance the padlock had been removed and the box opened, but it is not known whether any letters were extracted.
